How to bring fever down quickly? i'm using antibiotics and metamizole since yesterday but the temp still goes up in the evening. can ice-cream help?

Couldn't hurt: although the addage a spoon full of sugar ... could help I think tylenol (acetaminophen) or motrin would work better

Acetaminophen: While you are waiting for the antibiotics to take effect, use acetaminophen and ibuprofen to control the fever.

Fever: It depends on what is causing you fever. Ice cream? Sure if jump into a bath filled with it. Seriously, 600 mg of Ibuprofen with food and a tepid bath will bring a fever down.
