Fever @ 9 mos: The presence of Strep does not necessarily indicate that it is the cause of infection. Many are asymptomatically colonized. Antibiotics do not so much treat Strep, as they prevent acute rheumatic fever due to Strep, and despite antibiotic one may remain ill.
