Mild WBC elevation: Your white blood cell count is mildly elevated and is most likely not significant. Some causes of elevated white blood cell count are infection and inflammation. The blood count should be repeated by your doctor. Most of the time it will go back to normal. If it's higher then a work up should be undertaken. Good luck!
