I had lab work done 4 weeks post c-section. i had mild animea. wbc counts were normal, but baso cells were elevated to 1.4. should i be worried of blood cancer?

No: I don't consider the finding worth a second thought. The cited normal range of 0.5-1% in many labs . 1.5 % is not a finding worth worrying about. When such issues come up you should share your concerns with the doc who ordered the test so they can put the findings into the full context of your specific findings on history & exam.
