What can you do for a 2 week old other then a pacifier to keep them from staying hungrmry?

Pacifier: The pacifier will not satisfy the infant's hunger. Try to given the infant a little more formula or breast milk if the infant is breastfeeding. The smaller the infant the more frequent they need to eat because there stomach is small. The larger the baby the time frame between meals can be longer. Normally they need to eat every 2-3 hours initially.

Try to breastfeed.: Sorry didn't get your wording"hungrmry". If you just fed the infant and he/she is still fussy, check for the wet diapers, and temperature of the infant, room temperature and humidity (hot and dry air may cause the skin to be dry and itchy), infant may need just socializing (kangaroo care), infant may experience colics after feeding, GE reflux, need to burp, consider to give additional BF/formula

Self soothing: Babies suck on a pacifier because it feels good, not just because they are hungry. It is named a pacifier because it does. It is a skill set they started to do in the womb. Some are born with sucking blisters on their hands reflecting this activity. As long as baby is wetting diapers and growing, let it enjoy the activity.
