Mgt, M.D. visit: I agree that your baby needs to be seen at your pediatrician's office. At this age, the antibodies acquired from the mother during pregnancy have decreased. This means that the baby may be prone to infection. Crying, being inconsolable, and not feeding well, even when there is no fever, may indicate there is an infection. Colic, feeding intolerance, milk allergy, pain are other considerations.
