A member asked:

Im 23 years old and just found out i have a 2 cm prominent thickening of the endometrial stripe, i have left pelvic pain should i be worried?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Millimeters or cms.?: One centimeter equals 10 millimeters and therefore a 2 cm thickening of the endometrium in a non pregnant uterus is a concern. Usually the endometrium is sampled (biopsied) to find out why. Check with your GYN MD for further advice.
