Possibly normal: The infection may be gone, but residual inflammation of the bladder may cause frequency of urination. If frequency persists, I suggest another urine test to check for infection

Not normal: Bladder infections can be caused by multiple organisms, including e. coli, yeast, or chlamydia. For an antibiotic to work you have to have the right one matched to the bacteria. All antibiotics are not equal. Urinary frequency can also occur for reasons other than infection- including diabetes and over active bladder. If you are continuing to have issues you need to be re evaluated.

Urine culture: If you are still having symptoms after treatment you may need a urine culture. A urine culture can determine if the antibiotic you took treated the bacteria that caused your infection. Neither asthma nor allergies will affect this. See your doctor if your symptoms persist.
