WBC is a little high: What was your BP? Have you had a recent cold or infection? With an elevated WBC and ANC the most likely cause is a current or recent infection. Some medications can give similar results. You didn't mention what you were taking for blood pressure or anxiety. I'm sure the ER docs took all of this into consideration and if you weren't admitted or referred to specialist I'm sure you'll be ok.

Repeat the CBC: A CBC can be repeated by a medical provider to followup on the one run in the ED. It would be a good idea to try and get copies of your tests and record of your visit to share with the provider you see. Those kinds of numbers without any other information can be a sign of a mild infectious process but you can start eliminating other causes by repeating what has been done recently.
