Breast lesion: The reason to do a followup ultrasound is to make sure the lesion continues to look benign. What the radiologist is saying is nothing about this lesion now looks like a cancer, but I think we need to look at it again in 6 months just to make sure it still looks ok. Then if there is no change we will be absolutely sure it is benign. I know it is hard to wait, but it is better to be safe.

Get evaluated: A breast mass can appear benign on an US and still be problematic. Make sure it is evaluated by a surgeon that deals with a lot of breast disease. You may want to get the mass biopsied even though the US was normal.
