No: if something is abnormal - you need a biopsy to prove one way or the other

The radiologist: assigns a probability of cancer(BIRADS classification) to a lesion based on various imaging characteristics. The highest level of suspicion, BIRADS 5, implies a greater than 95 percent chance of malignancy. Ultimately, the only way to be sure is a biopsy.
