Pros and cons: you have to weigh the risk of stent thrombosis (sig less after the first 12mo) to risks of continued Plavix (clopidogrel) use, bleeding in particular. your cardiologist has your full history and is in the best spot to make that recommendation, hopefully after discussing with you in detail. I assume they'll be replacing it with aspirin so it's not like you'll be without protection.
