Hi doctors! i notice that i am very prone to purple bruises. i am on plavix 75 mg 1x daily and have been for quite some time. how would i know if the purple bruises are a reaction to the plavix or are a a separate area that needs to be addressed?

Need more info: Why are you on plavix? If it is following a stent, it is usually okay to stop after one year. You need to talk to the doctor who prescribed plavix, and it may need additional evaluation. Wish you good health!
