Not sure: I'm not sure what you mean by "close the wrist"? Do you have restricted range of motion with flexion and extension of the wrist? This is common after a fracture. You should look up exercises for the wrist (Ask.com) and do these daily. If that doesn't work an occupational therapist can help get the range of motion back.

Depends: The bones that can fracture in the wrist can change the alignment of the joint forever. Talk to your surgeon about hand therapy or further surgical care, if appropriate. Preventing the next fall is also an important concern - a Rehabilitation referral can help with gait.
