Wrist fracture: It depends on the type of the wrist fracture. In most uncomplicated wrist fractures, no consequences are seen. Some smaller bones of the wrist (carpal bones) may have poorer blood supply than others and may have troubles healing on their own. Rarely, a surgical intervention may be needed. Again, it depends on the type and location of the fracture.
