A member asked:

Can you feel breast focal fibrosis? what would it feel like?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: Focal fibrosis is usually what you would see on a pathology report. Some radiologists might describe something on breast imaging as focal fibrosis. Fibrosis is frequently the end result of the scarring process. It might feel lumpy or firm if you have a large enough area however this type of feeling is not specific to fibrosis.
