Not necessarily: could be a benign finding- instestinal gas; hoever, if you remain constipated, get a GI consultation.

Cannot say: in your particular case. Without an actual examination, I cannot give specific medical advice on your particular health. and... with a large operation, sometimes it takes time for the bowel to come back. distension/pain enlarged bowel are signs things are not going well.
