Neither: You have a common, primary care problem. You do not have an emergency. So. No to the hospital. That would be bizarre. Your family doctor or a foot doctor, a Podiatrist, is where you go for this problem.

Your GP should be: fine. If you physician works at a hospital that is fine. A podiatrist is a good option as well. Emergency Room would not be an appropriate option for this. Take care.
