The RN increased it?: You might consider working with a functional medicine doctor or integrative medicine doctor on your thyroid issue. As a functional medicine doctor, I make it a point to treat patients, not just labs. I prefer a TSH of between 0.04 and 1.8 if I am going to focus on the TSH. Thyroid symptoms are important to follow and base treatment on in my opinion.
