High tpo. tsh 2.36. has been as high as 3.5 in last 2 years. full workup, tests, and 10 doctors later, new pcp wants to trial low dose thyroxine for 6 wks to see if fatigue and other sx improve. am i wrong to be nervous to try since tsh is in range?

The presence of thyroid auto-antibodies puts you at risk of developing thyroid deficiency. Your doctor shopping may be forcing your doctor to do something to allay your concern. Taking supplemental thyroid medication will not alter the course of illness. There may be other reasons for you symptoms.
