I guess they can...: but not because you went from one state to another. See a local dentist in your new state to determine the cause of your swollen gums.

Of course: Denture-induced stomatitis is usually seen in people who wear implant support dentures. If your implant supported dentures do not fit properly or create inflammation, your dentist may need to adjust, repair or replace them.
