Seek ENT: Have them evaluate you for nasal patency, septum, polyps a lot could be the reason of not being able to breathe through nose also get evaluated for sleep apnea.

Snoring: As we get older most things most things do not have the elasticity we had when we were young. Your tongue can drop back into your throat when you sleep and block your airway causing snoring -often it may be related to sleep apnea-get a sleep test. The difficulty breathing and cough need to be evaluated by a physician.
