Hepatitis transmisio: Hepatitis A is transmitted by oral route, or in contaminated food. Hepatitis B is on the other hand, transmitted by bodily fluid, like in sexual contact, receiving contaminated blood products. Hepatitis A is endemic in developing world, when you travel. You would not likely to contract Hep A with foods here.

Only A: Hepatitis A is passed via fecal-oral route. Hepatitis B is passed via blood route. In our country it is very uncommon to get Hepatitis A from unwashed fruits or veggies. There is a vaccine for both A & B.
