A member asked:

I eat fruits/veggies everyday, have normal bowel movement, but these past 2-3 weeks i'm bloated all the time. should i get checked? could this be something serious?

Bloating is triggered by a combination of things. Air you swallow during feeds or drinking, carbonation released from beverages and gas produced by germs in your gut as they feed on digestive debris. You may have a gut germ imbalance that could benefit by probiotics, lay off the carbonated beverages & give it a week or two. This is common and not necessarily some bad condition.

Agree with Dr. Ferguson. You may wish to reduce your intake of food by about a quarter to see if that would relieve your symptoms. For info: Flatulence: https://www.niddk.nih.gov/health-information/digestive-diseases/gas-digestive-tract/eating-diet-nutrition. Wish you good health!
