A member asked:

After using oxymetazoline nasal spray (anefrin, etc, ) should i wait to blow my nose?

Only a short while: Breathe in deeply through the nose with mouth closed as spray is done. Breathe normally for 30 seconds and then blow nose when needed. Oxymetazoline is rapid acting.

Time to work: You should give the medication time to work first. Also be aware that this product should only be used on a short term basis and ongoing use may result in physical dependence on the product to maintain the sensation of open nasal passages.
