Luvox (fluvoxamine): Luvox is a ssri antidepressant and is in the same class as prozac, zoloft, paxil, (paroxetine) Celexa and lexapro. It can be prescribed for depression and anxiety, but tends to be prescribed as first line treatment for obsessive-compulsive disorder, which is a type of anxiety disorder.

Luvox (fluvoxamine): Luvox (Fluvoxamine) is approved by the FDA for the treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder. However, it has been used off-label by some to treat major depressive disorder, PTSD, panic disorder and social anxiety disorder.
