How long is it supposed to it take for luvox (fluvoxamine) to work?

4-8 Wks: Once you are at the maximum tolerated dose of close to 300mg (it takes time to taper up, most people are above 200mg). Only the can you start counting the weeks. For depression four weeks, for ocd 6-8 weeks. So practically from the day you start the initial 100mg if you are increasing by 50mg a week it could be a 13 week trial.
