Controlled release: In february 2008, the fda approved an extended-release capsule of Luvox -- Luvox cr -- for the treatment of social anxiety disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder (ocd) in adults. It's the same basic medicine as Luvox (fluvoxamine) but longer acting.

Luvox (fluvoxamine): Agree. Also, luvox-cr is the continuous release form & works for 24 hours.
