Does costochondritis ever go away? i've had it once before. i do get the pains every now and then.could it just be stress related or could it be that?

Usually temporary: Costochondritis is related to inflammation of the costochondral or costosternal joints. This is usually a self limited condition - as in temporary. There are other reason for more chronic inflammation but it usually is either more chronic(not so much here and there) or short lived. Stress could contribute. Hope this helps.
