See your dentist: wisdom tooth extraction is a surgical procedure and is not completely risk-free. Pain, swelling, bad breath and infection following surgery is usually at its worst 24 – 48 hours after surgery. After that it should subside more and more every day and after 7 days stop. Pain after 1 month could be serious problem. See your dentist or an oral surgeon for post-op appointment and treatment.

Infection?: Your symptoms may or may not be related to the actual surgery. Yes you could have an infection that can cause numbness. It's more likely there was some damage to the nerve. Pain and stiffness of the jaw could reflect TMJoint problem, perhaps exacerbated by the surgery. All this needs to be evaluated and sorted out. Call and see your dentist.
