Go to ER now: Yes, you may have tetanus. Call an ambulance and go to the er now. Do not try to drive yourself. Best wishes.

Infection: Very unlikely as it is to soon after your injury for tetanus to develop. However if you have not received a tetanus booster within 10 years it would be prudent to get one.
