I feel fluid in my ears but my ent says there is nothing in there should i go see an allergist?

TMJ disorder: I suggest if you get checked by a dentist with good training in the TMJ field . Feeling water in the ears, buzzing in the ears, clicking or grating noise , fullness or blogged ears all are signs and symptoms of TMJ disorders .. Especially if ENT specialist negate any ear infection or involvement as in your case .

TMJ-TMD : TMJ disorder is the second most frequent cause of orofacial pain after dental pain. The common symptom are: headache, jaw pain, neck pain, eye pain, earache. Proper diagnosis is the key for the successful treatment. This disorder will not resolve on its own with home care. Rec.: orofacial pain specialist for evaluation and treatment.

Yes: The Eustachian tube goes from the middle ear to the top of the throat to drain excess fluid from the middle ear. Often when there is significant nasal congestion from allergies this tube swells shut, causing backup of fluid in the middle ear without necessarily causing any visible changes when looking into the ear. An allergy evaluation is definitely a good idea.
