Is it better to see an allergist or ent for trying to fix chronically irritated sinuses and burning/wet feeling ears with thick sinus drainage?

Medical Specialist: This sure sounds like the best specialist to see would be an otolaryngologist (ent).

See an ENT: Though there could very easily be an allergic component to your sinus and ear issues, this most definitely would be treated medically and/or surgically by an ent. The ENT can also test you for allergies.

Team approach: You may need both if you have allergies that resulted in your sinus situation, one treats the underlying inflammation that lead you here and the other performs surgery if needed.
