A member asked:

Chronic dizziness following a cold. also have pressure/discomfort in one ear, but the ent says no fluid there. what could cause that if there isnt fluid?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ear pressure: I suspect blockage of the eustachian tube which connects the back of the nasal canal to the middle ear. This can cause vertigo, imbalance or other types of dizziness. If that nasal passage feels congested, irrigate it gently with clean warm salt water or spray the canal with a nasal decongestant spray to shrink the congested nasal membrane.
