A member asked:

Ct scan conclusion: 11 mm calculus rt renal pelvis w fullness to the rt collecting system. what does this mean and what should i do? there is no pain

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Kidney stone: On CT we use the cutoff of 5 mm for stones that can be treated conservatively. Stones larger than this need to be removed. The "fullness" means the urine isn't passing into the bladder and it is backing up, causing the drainage tube to dilate.
