A member asked:

Hi, a recent ct scan of my kidneys shows: areas of high density seen on kidney, there are some odd areas of increased attenuation in left renal area, number of small opacities in pelvis, no renal stones. can anyone please explain what this means? thx?

See below: All imaging results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. You may wish to talk to the radiologist who read the CT. Wish you good health!
