Few weeks: Numbness can last from a few weeks to a few months. There are times when it can last forever depending on whether there was a complication.

Post op care.: There is no way of telling the exact length of time the numbness will last. The problem is just how much the nerves were damaged in the surgery. There can be little to no numbness and, unfortunately, numbness can last forever. Go figure.
