Recently had bunion surgery. large toe is tingling, pins and needles, slightly numb. will this go away or is this permanent damage from the surgery?

Maybe: Depends what your definition of recently is. More likely your symptoms will be permanent if you're greater than six months or certainly 12 from the surgery.

SHOULD GO AWAY: During surgery, the nerves are identified and safely retracted. This stretches the nerve, causing an irritation which, almost always, is temporary and will resolve. Two questions-when was the surgery, and are you getting better? If you're improving, I find people continue on that path to resolution.
