Beaking: Sometimes jaw joint damage can result in anatomic change in the shape of the condyle where the top wears away and the condyles appear pointed. This appearance is sometimes called Beaking, and indicates disc displacement. The displacement results in the anatomic change, not the other way around. Do resolve means first determining what caused the displacement (often malocclusion).
