Why is it that tmj on left side of jaw always rubs against cheek tissue and left side does not when i open mouth? this is after assault on chin. no fractures but tmj feels cracked. maxillofacial doctor sends me home and pt and night guard is done?

You should get second opinion from Maxillofacial surgeon .I’m the mean time avoid opening your mouth too wide and also avoid eating hard and crunchy food .
