Retrodiscal Tear: is a common condition when due to the trauma a retrodiscal tissue is squeezed like a sponge and allows the TMJ condyle to be fully seated in it's socket. The disc is usually positioned anteromedially causing pain, locking jaw and limited range of motion. See an orofacial pain specialist for evaluation and treatment.
