Painful Root Canal: Root canal treatment is performed to remove the source of an infected tooth pulp. Inflammation and infection in the area around the tooth treated may take a while to heal though sometimes will never completely be eliminated. Give the tooth about two weeks to be symptom free or check with the dentist for signs of complications.
