Healthy smile.: Smiles have nothing to do with the dentist-it's what's behind the smile that does. So the answer is yes if you are doing well and you have no issues you should see your dentist every 6months.

@ least twice a year: Americans often will see their dentist more than they see their medical doctors. The best dentists today are focused on preventative care. The healthiest teeth are usu your own natural teeth. I only drill if there is decay or if a patient is trying to improve the appearance. Getting professional cleanings & checkups twice a year allows your dentist to help you keep your teeth in the best condition.
