Need examination: It is impossible to diagnosis without a complete exam and history. If you are describing a white line about next to crowns of teeth on cheek it may be a 'linea alba' which is very common do to biting cheek... Hard to tell what you mean by 'welp'.

False economy: You can't afford not to see a dentist. Any lesion should be evaluated immediately. It must be seen, examined, palpated, etc. Can't do that over the computer. It's worth it...Give up your computer cable bill for a month and instead pay a dentist to examine you.
