If : If you don't go to mexico often why would you start a treatment there? Orthodontics is a science that has different schooling each dentist has a particular way of treating the same condition, there are different types of braces each dentist uses his own. My advice to you will be to start your treatment in the city you reside, you should develop a good relationship whith your treating dentist. And remember don't fall into the"penny wise and dollar foolish" story! i hope this advise helped you decide wisely.

Nope. Unless : Nope. Unless you coordinate with the us dentist the fee in advance, you are not likely to get anyone to participate in the case. The fee for braces is not the placing of the brackets. It is knowing where to place them, guiding the movement of teeth, adjusting bracket placement as needed and all the time in the chair for each visit. Essentially, dentists and orthodontists don't charge for the bracket placement, that is free. They charge for the end result and all the time it takes to get there.
