Ovarian cyst: An ovarian cyst, by definition, is not cancerous. Ovarian cysts are much more common that ovarian malignancy. Talk with your doctor. There was probably pathology done of your cyst, which could confirm or exclude presence of any cancerous or precancerous cells. Further, your doc can discuss your personal overall risk of ovarian CA based on any family hx or genetic testing available.
