Should i be worried? 35 yr old, found 12mm cyst on left ovary that is bleeding into my pelvic cavity. grandma died (36yrold) from ovarian cancer.

Don't panic: Cysts are very common. Sometimes they rupture and bleed into the pelvis (hemorrhagic cyst). Your body will take care of it. 12mm is a very small cyst. I would advised waiting 4-6 weeks and having a repeat sonogram to check on cyst size. Not sure how much bleeding you're having but signs of anemia to watch out for are dizziness, increasing fatigue, fainting episodes.
