Glomerulonephritis: Nephrotic Syndrome means excessive amount of protein in the urine (more than 2.5 gm daily) causing swelling of the legs, hands, and/or face with high Cholesterol levels) with or without abnormal kidney function. Nephritic syndrome means abnormal kidney function plus blood and protein (either in the nephrotic range or less) in the urine associated with high blood pressure. Nephritic needs urgent Rx
