A member asked:

I am 44 yrs, have a gallbladder stone 30mm without any pain only gas, liver test function ok. can it be a silent threaten on long run. should remove?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends: If you have had symptoms from your gallstones, you may want to think about having your gallbladder removed. Having a gallstone is not necessarily a reason to remove it. It sounds like you have had some symptoms because of it, though. I would think about talking to a surgeon about an operation to remove it.
