High protein/low fa: I would recommend a high protein and low fat diet to build lean muscle. You should have some form of protein at every meal, 3 meals/day, with healthy snacks in between. I also would recommend lower weight with more repetitions for lean muscle. "Maxing" out your weight will increase muscle bulk. Hope this helps!

A 50-year-old member asked:
Want to bulk up and build plenty of muscle. What workouts can I do?

Work out: Bulking up requires not only several sets with low repetitions (8-10/set) using heavy weight, but also is affected by diet and supplements. You can visit a local GNC or you can talk to a trainer at your gym to ask which supplements are best for your needs, your body type and your goals
